Refresh a 6-pack design
Package design is a major aspect of graphic design. Having a package that draws peoples attention and entices them to buy a product is such an integral part of branding. As my graphic design professor says, "Most design is shit", so having a well made design does wonders for a brand.

To refresh a 6-pack, I first needed to find one with a design that could use some improvements. I chose this pack of Henry Weinhard's Root Beer, because it lacked character, and had issues with the legibility and placement of certain details.

Flattened 6-pack & flat build
Then came the work. The 6-pack had to be measured and recreated in Illustrator, to eventually be printed and built.

After hours of measuring, drawing in Illustrator, and building, the first box made had many problems. The sides were warping, the dividers didn't line up, and the handle didn't go together all the way. Due to these issues, the box obviously got smashed.
